چکیده
Abstract This paper presents enhanced performances of Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) catalysts modified with Re as a promoter and supported by various structured materials. The traditional Fe-Co based catalyst was prepared the simultaneous impregnation then application wash-coating slurry method to coat on materials, including monolith metallic foams. Their physicochemical properties were characterized Brunauer–Emmett–Teller specific surface area, hydrogen temperature programmed reduction. reaction carried out at 250°C, pressure 20 bar, GHSV 3600 mL.g −1 .h . It has been shown that efficiency F-T synthesis is significantly improved both modification material its catalyst. interesting resulted in decreasing gas formation improving C 5+ yield. In presence catalytic promoter, CO conversion yield increased 49% 50%, respectively. Furthermore, materials brought further enhancement performance an additional 23% increase All have observed be stable during 24 hours stream.

Size and Promoter Effects on Stability of Carbon-Nanofiber-Supported Iron-Based Fischer–Tropsch Catalysts
The Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis converts synthesis gas from alternative carbon resources, including natural gas, coal, and biomass, to hydrocarbons used as fuels or chemicals. In particular, iron-based catalysts at elevated temperatures favor the selective production of C2-C4 olefins, which are important building blocks for the chemical industry. Bulk iron catalysts (with promoters) were conventi...

In this study, the effect of preparation technique of carbon nanotube (CNT)-supported cobalt catalysts on the activity and selectivity of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) was studied. Different concentrations of acetic acid were used for the pretreatment of the catalyst support to modify the surface properties of CNT. This modification improved the reduction degree and dispersion of supported co...

The effects of electronic properties of inner and outer surfaces of Carbon Nano Tubes (CNTs) on the deactivation of cobalt Fischer-Tropsch (FT) catalysts were studied. The comparative characterization of the fresh and used catalysts by TEM, XRD, TPR, BET and H2 chemisorption showed that cobalt re-oxidation, cobalt-support interactions and sintering are the main sources o...
متن کاملRuthenium Modification on Mn and Zr-Modified Co/SiO2 Catalysts for Slurry-Phase Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis
The addition of Ru to Mn and Zr-modified Co/SiO2 catalysts, while applying different preparation orders and loading amounts, was investigated as a means of enhancing the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction. The coimpregnation of Zr/SiO2 with Co, Mn and Ru gave the most attractive catalytic properties. This can be attributed to the higher dispersion of Co metal resulting from the coimpregnation o...
